6 Useful Facilities On Campus

Have you wondered what kind of awesome facilities there are in Taylor's Lakeside University?

Good news, today I will introduce the 6 AWESOME facilities you could use throughout your time here on campus.

1. General Printing Shop near LT1 

This printing shop is very near to LT1, which is on the same floor as the Student Life Centre.  It is hidden from the other areas so to get there, you should enter a door leading you to a purple painted room.  The shop offers a lot services such as printing, photocopy, binding, lamination and other services. The price is expensive but it's very near the ADP classroom. It's useful when you need to urgently print your assignment, rather than going to the library that's even further.

2.  Drawing Room

Drawing Room is located Block D and E at Level 1. I think this is quite useful for ADP students who want to design something for their IPC project.  The view of the room is quite cool. I bet there will be a lot inspiration here.

3. Video Editing Room

This room contains all the softwares needed for video editing!   Pretty cool that our campus have this and the the room is very modern too. This is useful for Intro to Mass Communication students and Speech students. It's located at Block D, Level 3. Do go check it out.    

4. ICT HELP DESK

This is the ICT department to fix your Times Portal if there are problems.  It also offers printing services.  It's also pretty cheap, costing only RM 7.00 per piece for full coloured pages. Please take note that the ICT departments only offer printing services and you must use your student ID to pay the cost.

5. Boxing Ring

Want to show off your boxing skills? Good news, there's a boxing ring in the UniGym itself! You can apply the gym if you are a Taylor's University Lakeside student. It's only RM100 for the fee, which is awesome!

6. Swimming Pool

Yes, our campus has a swimming pool located at the UniGym as well!  It's not a big pool but it is an open area pool which has a nice view.
