10 Brilliant Ways To Utilize The Taylors Lake

Has anyone noticed that large body of water that's plonked right in the middle of our campus? Apart from reinforcing the word "lakeside" in the name of our uni, has anyone thought of anything we could use it for? Well, here are 10 brilliant ways that we CAN :

1. Fill it with non-newtonian fluid!

Imagine bouncing across the lake to get to the futsal courts, you'll never need to walk through the parking lot again!

2. Geese, a duck, why not flamingos?

With all the buzz Taylors' resident geese are making, filling the lake with pretty pink flamingos will make headlines!

3. Dragon boats.

What does every American college movie have? A rowing team, that's what. What do we need? A rowing team, that's what. But here we're keeping it asian.

4. A wishing.....lake.

So we'll be the only uni with a lake filled with hopes and dreams..and money.

5. Concert mosh pit

6. RC boats.

For some less physical, competitive gaming between classes.

7. Giant Slip n Slide!

Why wouldn't we want one!? Especially since it's an endless summer here!

On the topic of an endless summer,

8.  Water balloon fight!

Imagine a lake full of water balloons for the most epic water balloon fight...ever!

9. La tomatino!

A festival celebrated yearly in Spain with over 9000 people! Why not fill the lake with tomatoes and have a "la tomatino" of our own?

10. One giant duck.

because we're cool like that.

So the only question I have - why hasn't any of these been done yet?!
Let's hope #7 Giant Slip n Slide makes it to the next ADP cup games *crosses fingers*
